A police officer has been found not guilty of assault by beating and a public order offence.
Sgt William Gilbert was charged with assaulting a woman at the Admiral Cunningham pub in Bracknell, Berkshire, on 9 August 2022.
The Maidenhead-based officer was also accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a man.
However, he was found not guilty of both offences by Staines magistrates.
Sgt Gilbert, who remains suspended from duty, is being investigated over the incident by Thames Valley Police's Professional Standards Department.
