M4 Berkshire: Bridge work to shut stretch of motorway

Parts of the M4 between junctions 11 and 12 will be closed over coming months for the work
A stretch of the M4 in Berkshire will close for work on a bridge on Monday.
The first of five consecutive overnight closures will start at 20:00 BST and continue until Friday for work on the Burghfield Road Bridge.
That will close the motorway westbound between junction 11 at Reading and junction 12 at Theale.
Other closures are expected on the M4 westbound throughout April and May. All work is expected to be completed by late July.
National Highways said closures are currently programmed for:
22-26 April - Westbound overnight full closures (from 20:00 to 06:00)
27-29 April - Westbound full weekend closure (from 21:00 on Saturday to 06:00 on Monday)
29-30 April - Westbound overnight full closures
