Hope Fennell named as girl killed in Kings Heath lorry accident

A 13-year-old girl who was killed in a lorry crash in Birmingham has been named by police.

Hope Fennell, from the Kings Heath area, was hit by the vehicle on Kings Heath High Street on Monday.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the accident which happened just after 17:00 GMT.

Fire crews freed Hope from under the lorry, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver did not need hospital treatment.
