The planned cemetery extension will create burial space for "more than 20 years"

Work to extend a graveyard with "just 12 months of burial space left" is due to start.

Dudley Council said the £200,000, multi-faith burial ground would cater "for specific religious needs".

Work on the new cemetery, to be built off Clee Road opposite the current site, will finish next year, the council said.

It predicts the expansion will provide room for "more than 20 years" of burials.
