Giant clock will chime to the sound of the travelling public

A giant aural clock has been unveiled as the winner of what's being called the most ambitious public art commission in Birmingham's history.

The Birmingham Big Art Project is aiming to raise £2m for the artwork which it hopes to unveil near the proposed site for the HS2 terminus.

The public will be called on to help provide the vocal combinations needed for the hourly chime.
