A man has been charged over the theft of more than 50 mobile phones at a gig.

A total of 53 phones were recovered by officers after Royal Blood's show at The Arena Birmingham on Saturday, West Midlands Police said.

Alin Marin has been charged with conspiracy to steal and was remanded in custody after appearing at Birmingham Magistrates' Court, the force said.

The 22-year-old construction worker, of no fixed address, is due to appear at the city's crown court on 18 December.
