'Birmingham feels less safe for gay people now'
A man hit with a bottle during a homophobic attack says the atmosphere in his city has changed.
John-Paul Kesseler said in the space of a few years, the area around Birmingham's Gay Village felt less safe.
He was injured in the early hours of Sunday.
He said those issuing abuse felt enabled by the culture to do it.
