Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Smethwick

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Smethwick last month.

West Midlands Police said a man in his 20s was dropped off at Birmingham City Hospital in the early hours of 23 October with a leg injury.

The force said the wound was not serious and investigations suggested an attack happened in Cape Hill, Smethwick.

The accused pair are aged 22 and 25.

Having been remanded in custody, they are set to appear at Birmingham Crown Court in January.
