A line-up of indie and folk rock acts are set to take to the stage at an annual music festival in Birmingham.

Belle and Sebastian, the Levellers, Dexys and Flogging Molly are among the headline acts due to perform at this year's Moseley Folk and Arts Festival.

The three-day event will take place at Moseley Park and Pool from 30 August to 1 September.

Organisers said a number of improvements would also be in place for this year's show.

John Fell, festival manager, said it was great to confirm acts such as the "mighty" Levellers and the "sublime" Belle and Sebastian would be on the line-up.

He said improvements to the festival last year had seen shorter wait times upon entry and reduced queues at main bars.

"We'll be retaining these changes this year, with further improvements to be revealed over the coming weeks," he said.

Organisers added further acts, including an expanded comedy line-up, would be announced in the coming weeks.
