A4174 Bristol ring road: Pedestrian dies after being hit by van

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a van.
Emergency services, including paramedics, were called to the A4174 on the outskirts of Bristol at around 04:20 BST on Thursday.
Avon and Somerset Police say the pedestrian died at the scene and their next of kin is being supported by specially trained officers.
The road near Warmley reopened at 11:20 BST after being shut for seven hours.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or dashcam footage that may help with their investigation.
