Bristol Galleries shut for second day due to power outage

The Galleries shopping centre in Bristol is closed for a second day in a row

A shopping centre will remain closed for a second day because of a power outage.

The Galleries shopping centre and car park in Bristol has been closed to visitors since Monday morning.

A spokesperson said engineers were currently on site working on fixing the outage but at present it was not able to open.

"We are doing all we can to resolve the issue as quickly as possible," the shopping centre said in a statement.

"We will remain closed on Tuesday 17 October. Thank you to our customers for their patience and understanding during this time," it added.
