The Traitors: Mollie Pearce wants to break down barriers on stomas

A contestant in the hit BBC show The Traitors says she hopes to continue breaking down barriers about living with a stoma.

Mollie Pearce, who reached the final, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis aged 11.

The autoimmune condition causes inflammation in the large intestine, triggering ulcers and debilitating pain.

Mollie, from Bristol, told BBC Points West that stomas can be a "taboo topic" but hopes her appearance on the show has "raised awareness" of it.
