At any point over a weekend there are dozens of photographers out and about in Bristol capturing snapshots of life, from news to sport and live entertainment.
Here is a selection of images taken in the city this weekend.

On to victory: A Bristol City fan cheers his side on against high-flying Leicester City at Ashton Gate on Good Friday. The Robins battled to a 1-0 win over the Foxes.

A chance to reflect: Worshippers at Bristol Cathedral for the Liturgy of the Lord's Death on Good Friday, with the wooden cross a reminder of the sacrifice at the heart of the Easter story.

Red rose rampant: England's lock Rosie Galligan dives across the line to score a try during the Six Nations international women's rugby union match between England and Wales at Ashton Gate on Saturday. The crowd, more than 19,700, was a record for a home international.

Any day now: One of the expectant mothers at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park, where lambing season is in full swing.


Not your usual bike ride: The Drum & Bass On The Bike mass ride heads down Park Street in Bristol, led by Dom Whiting. The annual event brings traffic to a standstill.

Craftsmanship: Dozens of local artists are showcasing their work at the Easter Sculpture and Arts Festival at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden, which runs until Monday.

Fruits of their labours: Volunteers at Filwood Community Centre in Knowle West will soon be adding apple trees to their new outdoor garden spaces thanks to a donation from cider producer Thatchers.
