RAF personnel march through Huntingdon

Personnel from RAF Wyton and RAF Brampton marched through a Cambridgeshire town on Tuesday.

Two flights of 15 personnel from units based at the stations took part in the parade in Huntingdon.

The Standard of 57 (R) Squadron was paraded and a General Salute taken at St Benedict's Court.

RAF Wyton was granted freedom of the Borough of Huntingdon in 1955 and this was extended to RAF Brampton in 1995.

The right of freedom allows serving personnel to march through the town "on all ceremonial occasions with bayonets fixed, colours flying, drums beating and bands playing".

The parade, accompanied by Wyton Voluntary Band, was led by Sqn Ldr Paul Tuite, officer commanding Operations and Force Development Squadron.
