A teenager who was in "fear" when three men turned up at his Cambridge home has admitted killing one of them.

Miciajah Brown, 26, suffered multiple stab wounds at Hanover Court on 3 March. He died at the scene.

Ade Adeniran, 19, denied murder but admitted manslaughter on the grounds of loss of control. The prosecution accepted his plea.

He was remanded in custody at the city's crown court to be sentenced in December.

He also admitted two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, relating to the two other men.

Defence barrister Nigel Rumfit said Adeniran "feared serious violence" when three men turned up at the house where he lived with his girlfriend.

He said the defendant did intend to cause bodily harm, but not kill Mr Brown.

A post-mortem examination confirmed the victim died from multiple stab wounds, one of which severed his femoral artery.

At the time, Mr Brown's family said the 26-year-old was loved by all and had a "big heart and an amazing spirit".

A 22-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of murder was released without charge.
