A man has pleaded guilty to burgling the home of an 86-year-old Cambridgeshire woman who was found dead there in January.

Dainius Stelmokas, 29, of De Havilland Road, Wisbech, broke-in to Una Crown's home in Wisbech on 4 April.

He pleaded guilty at Kings Lynn Magistrates' Court and will be sentenced at a later date.

Police have launched a fresh appeal for information into the murder of Mrs Crown, who was a widow.

To mark the three-month anniversary of the weekend Mrs Crown's body was discovered, police are to revisit the area around her bungalow in Magazine Lane.

A mobile police station has been set up in the area, officers will speak to residents and letters appealing for help have been sent to every household.

The widow's burnt and stabbed body was discovered at her home on 13 January.

A 58-year-old man remains on bail in connection with the case.

The charity Crimestoppers has offered a £10,000 reward for information which leads to the conviction of her killer.

Stelmokas will be sentenced for the burglary at Cambridge Crown Court at a date to be fixed.
