Covid-19: Dr Chris Smith answers your questions
A leading virologist has been answering questions about the future of Covid testing and boosters against the virus as the number of people in hospital with it continues to fall.
All remaining legal restrictions in England were removed last month as part of the government's "Living with Covid" plans, external and, from 1 April, PCR and lateral flow tests will no longer be free for most people.
Dr Chris Smith, from the University of Cambridge, has been responding to questions from BBC Look East viewers about what to expect next.
He was asked what impact the end of free tests is likely to have and why people aged over 75 are to be offered another booster shot.
