CCTV shows 'prolific thief' stealing from Peterborough shop

CCTV footage showed a man described by police as a "prolific thief" stealing alcohol from a supermarket.

Joshua Turner, 21, can be seen hiding bottles under his hoodie and inside a carrier bag before leaving the Tesco store in Werrington, Peterborough.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop and breaching a criminal behaviour order at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court on 24 February.

Turner, of no fixed address, was sentenced to 42 weeks in prison.
