The driver's insurance policy was owned by another man, said police

A car that was being driven at 93mph (150 km/h) near Peterborough has been seized.

The driver of the speeding vehicle was stopped by police on the northbound A1(M), external on Monday.

Officers said while carrying out checks they discovered the driver's insurance policy was owned by a "much older" man, who lived hundreds of miles away.

The driver told them a friend organised the policy for him online. No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.
