Campaigners say services are under threat
Campaigners have held a rally outside the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske over the future of the NHS.
Save our NHS Cornwall and the Cornwall Anti-Cuts Alliance claim local NHS services are under threat from NHS reforms and job cuts at the hospital.
The proposals give GPs more control over NHS budgets and increase the private sector role.
The Department of Health is pausing to reflect on concerns but says it has received wide support for the plans.
About 50 campaigners marched from Treliske to Truro city centre.
Cornwall Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George, who addressed the campaigners, said: "I hope it is a genuine listening exercise and that there will be some substantial changes."
