GP Gary Hughes's wife Marion charged with his murder

A woman accused of murdering her GP husband has been remanded in custody until her trial.
The body of Dr Geraint Hughes, 60, was found by police at the home he shared with his wife Marion in the village of Feock, in Cornwall, on Friday.
Mrs Hughes, 58, appeared at Truro Crown Court after going before city magistrates earlier on Thursday.
Dr Hughes's body was discovered after the emergency services were called to the couple's detached bungalow.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Mrs Hughes was treated for injuries and taken to hospital before being taken into police custody.
She entered no plea and made no application for bail during the crown court hearing.
Dr Hughes, known as Gary, qualified in 1977 and was senior partner at the Clinton Road Surgery in Redruth.
