Helston: Two arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after assault

The attack took place on Lady Street, Helston, on Sunday, police said
A 19-year old man and a 19-year old woman have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a serious attack in Helston, Cornwall.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after the assault on Lady Street, at about 03:00 GMT on Sunday.
Police said officers were likely to remain in place guarding the scene for the rest of the day.
Detectives were not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident.
