Plans to open two lanes of the flyover have been delayed
Drivers are being warned of delays amid a further closure of the A30 in Cornwall.
National Highways said the road would be closed between Boxheater and Scorrier from 20:00 GMT on Friday and would reopen by 06:00 on Monday.
The northern section of the A390 near Truro is then due to be closed over between 16 and 19 February.
The closures are part of a scheme to dual a section of the road between Carland Cross and Chiverton Cross.
National Highways said the latest closure would involve work on drainage, the central reservation, barriers and a "traffic switch" at Trevalso, allowing motorists to transfer from the existing road to a new section of the carriageway.
The agency said resurfacing would then be carried out on the Chiverton interchange the following weekend.
Diversion routes will be in place.

Neil Winter, National Highways' senior project manager for the A30 scheme, said: "We appreciate the closures will have an impact on people's journeys, but after this latest phase of work, motorists will only see a slight difference at Trevalso.
"We advise people to plan ahead, follow the diversion routes and not use local roads, and allow a little extra time for their journeys, and in the meantime we thank people for their patience as we move towards completing this massive road upgrade for Cornwall."
National Highways said the new A30 dual carriageway was scheduled to be open at the end of this winter.
