Police close Camborne flat after anti-social behaviour

A flat in Cornwall has been served with a full closure order after reports of anti-social behaviour.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the order was granted against the property in Holmans Court, Camborne, on 21 February by Truro Magistrates' Court.
Officers said the decision to apply for the order was "not taken lightly and was done to prevent further distress to the community".
The order against the property is in place for three months.
The force was granted the order after collaborative work between the neighbourhood policing team in Camborne and Cornwall Council's anti-social team, police said;.
Sgt Dave Bardle said he was thanking nearby residents for raising issues and added that officers would "continue to work with the anti-social behaviour team to tackle the issues raised".
Insp Louisa Brown said the force took "reports of this nature seriously".
She said the neighbourhood team worked hard to act upon the concerns of the community and take action to improve the local area.
"We are really pleased that the closure order was granted against this property, and we believe this is a positive step in improving the lives of local people."
A full closure order means no-one will be able to enter the property for the designated period of time without risking a fine, imprisonment, or both, according to police,
