Motorcyclist killed in crash on A38 near Trerulefoot

A man has died following a crash involving a van and a motorcycle on the A38 near the Trerulefoot roundabout.
Police and paramedics were called at 07:05 GMT following the incident involving a grey BMW motorcycle and a white Peugeot Boxer van.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking for witnesses and drivers with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s from Saltash, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"The van driver was uninjured."
The A38 was closed both ways between the B3249 near St Germans and the A374 at Trerulefoot for eight hours.
