A30 in Cornwall road closure for National Highways works

Work is underway to upgrade the A30 between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross roundabouts
A section of the A30 in Cornwall will be closed for roadworks from Friday night to Monday morning.
The A30 will be closed between Boxheater and Chiverton Cross from 20:00 BST on Friday night until 06:00 on Monday.
All traffic will be diverted via the B3285 and A3075.
Work is underway to upgrade the A30 between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross roundabouts in a £330m project that began in March 2020.

The weekend's roadworks would be focused on surfacing, installing bases for new signage and infrastructure work along the route, National Highways said.
Local access north and south via the B3284 at Chybucca would be maintained throughout the weekend, it added.
