Plans for 46 holiday homes with a "village feel" on the site of an existing holiday park have been submitted to Cornwall Council.

Proposals for a new leisure building, including a swimming pool, have been put forward to the planning department for St Merryn Park, near Padstow.

If approved, cottages ranging in size from one to four bedrooms will be "designed specifically for holiday use and arranged on the available site area with a village feel around outdoor amenity space and associated parking spaces", the Local Democracy Reporting Service said.

The park includes several facilities including a bar, restaurant and a mini-market which are also open to the public.
