Indian manufacturing company Tata is expanding its partnership with the University of Warwick.
The firm plans to take on 100 members of staff over the next two years, and is discussing plans to establish test and development centres on the site.
Tata, owners of Jaguar Land Rover, already has engineers and researchers working alongside the university's Warwick Manufacturing Group.
The firm is marking five year's of working with the university.
Last week, the firm announced it had started production of electric cars in Coventry.
