Vaisakhi parade held in Coventry

Sikhs have been taking part in an annual Vaisakhi parade in Coventry.
Up to 10,000 people were expected to attend the procession, also known as Nagar Kirtan, starting at the Gurdwara Guru Nanak Parkash.
The parade, which began with a donation ceremony, was taking in other temples and streets including Howard Street, Stoney Stanton Road and Foleshill Road.
Vaisakhi marks the start of the Sikh new year, the creation of Sikhism and the harvest festival in India.
