Norovirus restricts visitors at two Warwickshire hospitals

A visitor ban Warwick Hospital remains in place following an outbreak of Norovirus which has also hit Stratford-upon-Avon Hospital.

The 18-bed Nicol Ward at Stratford-upon-Avon was closed on Tuesday and restrictions were put in place at Warwick Hospital on Monday.

The ban does not apply to the maternity or children's wards at Warwick.

A spokesperson said patients should check the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust website, external for updates.

Patients are still being advised to attend their appointments at Warwick, unless notified otherwise.
