Cost-of-living: Farmer fears for firms as rural pressures keep rising
Rising prices could force good businesses to close in rural communities, a farmer said.
Matthew Grindal has a farm on the Warwickshire-Leicestershire border, near Rugby, and said the price of fuel, food and animal feed continued to increase.
"It's going to weed out really good businesses," he said.
The government announced energy support for businesses this week and promised more grants to help rural communities.
