Flood warnings remain in Warwickshire

Nuneaton is among Warwickshire towns where river levels are high following heavy rainfall
A number of flood warnings are in place in Warwickshire following heavy rainfall.
The Environment Agency (EA) renewed its flood warning for the River Swift at Rugby and said further rainfall was forecast.
"River levels are high but steady at the Churchover river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains," it said.
An EA warning remains for the River Alne but the flooding risk is reducing.
The EA had warned on Monday that two roads in the catchment villages of Aston Cantlow and Great Alne could be affected.

Land in Studley was flooded on Monday
Such warnings mean the EA considers flooding of homes and businesses likely and action should be taken.
However, a previous warning for Gog Brook at Warwick was removed by the agency on Tuesday.

River levels were high in Stoneleigh
Ian Jones, EA area director for the West Midlands, said on X there were nevertheless multiple flood warnings in place across the region.
"Absolute shocker - almost static rainfall all day," he said of Monday's weather.
"Unsurprisingly, it's a busy flood warning map as a result. Our duty teams are working throughout, operating assets, warning and informing and clearing blockages."
