Two men have been arrested after hundreds of cannabis plants were discovered at a commercial premises.

Over 700 plants were found following a raid at a site on Newdigate Street, in Coventry, on Friday.

A 27-year-old man and 20-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis and remain in custody, West Midlands Police said.

The force added the plants would be destroyed by its cannabis disposal unit.
