The first phase of a multi million-pound student village complex has opened in Carlisle.
The 25 town houses have been built on the site of the former Kangol factory in Denton Holme.
Up to 250 Cumbria University students will be housed in the complex, which features fully furnished study bedrooms and a laundry.
About £20m has been spent on the facility, built by Carlisle-based Border Construction.
