Plans have been prepared for a major revamp of a Derbyshire leisure centre.
Part of the £2.4m project at Ilkeston's Victoria Park leisure centre will be spent on making the centre more accessible for disabled people.
Erewash Borough Council said the refurbishment also includes roof repairs and re-sealing of the pool surrounds and changing rooms.
The coffee shop will be relocated to the ground floor and a new room set aside for dance and workout sessions.
A new sauna and steam room will be installed and the lighting and layout of the car park improved.
The work on the improvements is expected to start later this year.
Victoria Park Leisure Centre has won a Quest Award, which is given for management of leisure facilities in the UK.
