Snake Pass collision leaves motorcyclist dead

A motorcyclist has died in a crash with a car on the Snake Pass road in Derbyshire.
The 62-year-old rider, from Manchester, who has not yet been named, died in the collision with a Citroen Picasso in Glossop, at about 11:25 GMT.
The crash happened on the A57 between Hurst Road and the Hurst Reservoir.
The road, which connects Sheffield and Manchester, was closed after the incident but police said it was due to re-open by 17:00 GMT.
