Derby: Probe after woman found with head injuries dies

Police said the woman was found in Bass Street and taken to hospital, where she died shortly after arrival
An investigation has been launched after a woman found with head injuries died.
Derbyshire Police said officers were called to Bass Street in Derby at 07:30 GMT on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old woman was taken to hospital but died shortly after arrival, the force added.
Two men, 47 and 49, have been arrested and are assisting officers with their inquiries. Both men remain in police custody.
