Steps to move travellers from Exeter M5 bridge site
- Published
Legal proceedings are being taken to move a group of travellers from a bridge construction site in Devon.
There are currently about six caravans camped on the site near Exeter which is owned by Devon County Council.
Work has begun to construct a new £4m pedestrian and cycle bridge across the M5 motorway at Redhayes.
A council spokesman said the project had not been affected by the travellers, but they would be evicted if they did not leave.
The travellers arrived on the site last week.
