Burst pipe in east Devon cuts off water supplies
- Published
Households in part of east Devon have been without water because of a burst pipe in the area.
South West Water said it had received about 20 calls from customers in the Bampton area, near Tiverton, about a loss of supply.
The company said staff were working to locate the problem and repair it as soon as possible.
The company has been dealing with a surge in leaks across the South West caused by frozen pipes thawing out.
It said areas in east and North Deon had been the worst affected.
