Plans to redevelop Plymouth Argyle's Home Park ground could be considered by July.

Consultation on the £50m project for a new grandstand, 10-screen cinema, ice rink and hotel ends on 2 July.

The planning application, external, which includes pictures of the new stand, could go before city councillors on 18 July or 15 August.

Club owner Akkeron Group says the development will put the club on a more sustainable financial footing.

Work is expected to start in September this year if planners give the go-ahead and could be completed in 2015.

Akkeron took over Argyle in 2011 after the club went into administration.
