English Riviera Air Show cut short due to poor visibility

A seaside air show has been cut short because of poor visibility.
Organisers of the two-day English Riviera Air Show in Torbay, south Devon, said poor weather meant it was unsafe to continue displays on Sunday.
Thousands of spectators were treated to an aerobatic extravaganza on Saturday which was closed by the Red Arrows.
But Sunday's displays were cancelled by organisers who had not been able to find a gap in the weather.
"We really wanted to bring you some flying today and have had dedicated teams paying very close attention to the conditions in order to find a gap in the weather to be able to do so, but sadly it just hasn't been possible," said organisers.
An RAF Chinook helicopter, a Pitts Special stunt plane and army parachutists also took part in the show on Saturday.
L/Cpl Dan Hurst, a member of the Prince of Wales Royal Regiment's parachute team, said: "It's good to be back, it's good to interact with crowds and it's good to show people not only what we do as a team, but what we do in general in the Army."
