Pedestrian injured in motorbike hit and run in Plymouth

A pedestrian has sustained potentially life-threatening injuries in a crash, officers have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it was called to Beacon Park Road in Plymouth at 18:20 GMT on Monday after a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian.
The rider left the scene with the motorcycle before officers arrived, police said.
Police said the pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was taken to Derriford Hospital.
His next of kin have been made aware.
A road closure was in place for several hours while an investigation was carried out.
Officers are seeking witnesses to the collision or the manner of driving of the motorcycle around the time of the incident.
Police asked witnesses to get in touch with them.
