An e-bike rider has sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash in Plymouth.
Police were called to the junction of Alma Road and Outland Road at about 23:00 GMT on Friday after reports of a collision.
A 41-year-old man riding a Sur-Ron electric bike was taken to hospital after the collision with a silver Vauxhall Insignia, police said.
A man in his 20s has been arrested following the incident.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the vehicle did not stop at the scene, and is appealing for witnesses.
The force, which earlier asked people to help trace a Vauxhall Insignia, said it had now been found.
The man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
The force said it would like to thank the public for their patience while investigation work was carried out at the scene.
