A daughter has pleaded not guilty to the murder of her mother in Dorset.

Ecila Henderson, 39, denied killing retired teacher Rosemary Armstrong, 69, who was found stabbed to death.

Mrs Armstrong, originally from Sailsbury, was found on 25 August last year outside a block of flats in the Pokesdown area of Bournemouth.

Ms Henderson, of Queensland Road, was remanded in custody under the Mental Health Act and will stand trial on 25 July at Winchester Crown Court.
