New smartphone app sees Dorset bus tickets go mobile

A new mobile phone app has been launched allowing bus passengers in Dorset to buy their tickets before they travel.

The technology has been taken on by Wilts & Dorset Bus Company.

Passengers can buy tickets using the app with their credit or debit card and rather than searching for the right change on board, show their phones to drivers instead.

BBC South Today's Paul Clifton went to Poole to try it out.
