Frontline police officers in Dorset are to trial body-worn video cameras as part of plans to boost accountability.

More than 100 cameras are being issued to officers in Bridport, Weymouth and Bournemouth.

The force said the devices would make "the police more transparent and provide an unbiased record of what an officer has experienced".

If successful, the trial, due to start in the summer, will be rolled out across the force.
