Wimborne: Cyclist in his 40s killed in car crash

A cyclist has died in a crash with a car in Dorset.
The collision, which involved a red Vauxhall Corsa, happened on the B3078 Julians Road in Wimborne at about 22:10 BST on Wednesday.
The rider of the bicycle, a man aged in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and died at the scene, with police saying his next of kin has been informed.
A woman in her 20s has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences, Dorset Police said.
The force said it was investigating the cause of the crash and appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
