James Brittain-McVey from The Vamps has joined local musicians performing a Christmas single for a children's hospice.
He is a guest vocalist on a new version of Silent Night recorded in aid of the Julia's House Christmas Appeal.
McVey is a patron of the charity, which supports seriously-ill children and their families in Dorset and Wiltshire.
Its chief executive said the song was "our own special take on the spirit of Christmas".
James Brittain-McVey, from Bournemouth, performs on the revamp of the traditional Christmas carol alongside Braishfield String Quartet, Dorset pianist Matt Black, five-piece band The Defectors.
The Julia's House choir - made up of staff and volunteers - also features on the single.
The alternative lyrics to Silent Night were written by the charity's chief executive Martin Edwards.
"We decided to convey a little about our care service, depicting a night of care at the hospice during Christmas; how children make friendships together there, and how we support families throughout the tough times," he said.
The project was also helped with donated recording studio time and students from Arts University Bournemouth filming a video.
The single's cover image was created by local artist, Phil Johnson and the song will be available on all major music streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music from Monday.
Julia's House provides specialist support for seriously ill children and end of life care, either in family homes or at its two hospices in Corfe Mullen and Devizes.
