Boscombe pedestrian seriously injured in crash dies

A man seriously injured in a crash in Dorset has died.
Police were called to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a grey Vauxhall Mokka on Wednesday.
The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the incident in Ashley Road, near the Windham Road junction in Boscombe.
Police confirmed he has since died of his injuries. A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
She was released pending further inquiries.
Sgt Mark Scammell said: "Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died following this collision.
"We owe it to them to conduct a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of this incident and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, who has not already spoken to police to please make contact with us."
