Police said about 80 cars met at The Oaks Retail Park in Harlow on Christmas Eve

A dispersal order was put in place by police after about 80 vehicles met in an Essex town on Christmas Eve.

Officers received reports of anti-social behaviour around the The Oaks Retail Park, in Harlow.

Police imposed the order from 23:15 GMT on Sunday until 06:00 on Christmas Day.

A police spokesperson said: "We received a number of calls from concerned members of the public following a large car meet consisting of around 80 vehicles."
